Minimalism for the masses?

I think we are naturally inclined to think "my way is the best way". We think that what works for us must work for everyone. If we get excited about something, we tell everyone and assume that they should do the exact same thing because after all, it is SO wonderful for us.

Minimalism comes easy to me. I've always gravitated toward the simple, the orderly, the organized. I've never held much emotional attachment to "things". But what about the person who is emotionally attached to things or who finds joy in their stuff. Is minimalism right for them? I'm not sure . . . While it is freeing and refreshing for me, it might be constricting and overwhelming for others.

What do you think?
